O my forgotten night
and the star-
I knew as the moment of of my birth.
Hundreds of suns have since come and gone
and made my face an ancient one.
I'll look more distant ahead
and be a star one day.
You'll meet it then, O Sun
amidst the vengeance of the forlorn night.
